Mastering
Mastering is the post-mixing process, in which the engineer in charge works to ensure that all the songs in a release maintain the same feel, volume and flow. The finishing touches are given, a general sweetening consisting of processes such as dynamic equalization, parallel compression, and so on. These depend and vary according to each engineer and each genre, artist and particular taste of those involved in each of the releases.
